Vienna Austria Shopping - The Naschmarkt, Wienzeile, in the 6th District is the largest of the city's outdoor food markets. It occupies what was originally the riverbed of a branch of the Danube. Today it is the most popular and vibrant of the markets. The Naschmarkt is famous in literature - entire books have been written about the subcultures and linguistic dialects that flourish among the Naschmarkt's denizens.

In the city center (1st District), you will find the modern Haas House, designed by the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning Hans Hollein. You can see the mirror image of the cathedral reflected in its semicircular glass facade. Today, Haas House provides visitors a number of exclusive shops and boutiques, and also boasts a terrace restaurant with a panoramic view over the beautiful historic center of Vienna.

Ringstrassen Galerien at Karntner Ring 5-13 offers shoppers over 70 boutiques selling everything under the sun in the labyrinthine quarters near the State Opera House. This location features a broad mix of some low-end to high-end stores that offer a wide selection. These shops are independent. In particular, this is where you will find Casselli and Agatha Paris stores.
