The main way to get from here to there is to use the Rio de Janeiro public buses. There are nearly 440 municipal bus lines that serve Rio de Janeiro’s residents and tourists. This is one of the cheapest options for tourists on a budget. And if you want to avoid traffic congestion at peak times during the day, a better option is to use the subway or the train, which helps reduce the traffic on the streets and gets you to where you are going much faster.
