Madrid Shopping Spain - Madrid Center is the prime location for shopping. Any shopper of any taste will be shocked by the diversity and selection of shops in the center of this city. The concentration of shops lie to the north of Puerta del Sol and radiate outward.

Gran Via was built in the through the 1910s and 1920’s as the prime location for the best shops, hotels and restaurants. It offers the best bookstores, and some of the finest outlet stores offering fashion, jewelry, and handcrafted accessories from all over Spain.

Northwest Madrid is located a few blocks east of Parque del Oeste and is loaded with upscale shops selling fashion, gifts, children’s clothing and much more. This area also offers a number of great bookstores throughout.

Salamanca District is an upper-class neighborhood and its shops are likewise quite exclusive. This district offers a number of outlets for furniture shops, jewelry, and interior decorators as well as department stores.
