Los Angeles California Transportation - Los Angeles California is a bustling metropolis that stretches thousands of square miles across the desert basin. It is peppered with palm trees, swimming pools, and covered with a network of congested freeways. While Los Angeles brings to mind gritty movies about inner-city gangs and drugs – in reality the city epitomizes the American Dream. It offers visitors dream attractions like Hollywood and Disneyland – and it boasts some of the most exotic and world-renowned communities to live such as Beverly Hills and Malibu.

The central Airport for Los Angeles is LAX (Los Angeles International). There are also several others in the area including the Bob Hope Airport (BUR), Van Nuys (VNY), LA/Ontario International (ONT), and LA/Palmdale Regional (PMD). Transportation to and from the Airport includes shuttle service, taxi service, and limo service. The FlyAway bus service proves a fast, affordable ride between Downtown and LAX, or from LAX to Van Nuys. They also run between VNY and LAX. The Union Station bus leaves every 30 minutes until after-hours when they switch to hourly service. All FlyAway buses run 24 hours a day. (www.lawa.org/flyaway)
