Houston Shopping Texas - Downtown is a very popular shopping destination that offers shoppers some of the best shopping in the city. The downtown area includes Macy’s, housed in one of the oldest department store buildings in Houston. This store is a five-story building and covers an entire block. The downtown area also offers The Park Shops at 1200 McKinney that houses about 40 boutiques and specialty shops.

Kirby District is a more upscale area that offers two large strip malls. Highland Village at 4000 Westheimer houses Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and various boutiques. The Village is a 16-block stretch of small shops and outlets as well as a number of great restaurants.

Southwest Houston is a fascinating area where a huge assortment of strip malls and stores offer jewelry, designer clothes, perfume, furniture – with stores of various cultures as well. These quality brand name products are at great bargain prices.
