Church of our Savior

This church has a beautiful Baroque altar that is decorated with cherubs and other figures. There is also a richly carved organ case that is a real sight to see. The best part about the church is the spiral staircase and a gilded figure of Christ on top of a globe.
Amalienborg Palace

This palace is the residence of the Queen. It was built in 1750 and was originally designed to provide residences for the noble families. There are four palaces on the grounds that are used for official business today as well as the residence of the Queen and her family.
Christiansborg Palace

Out of the original four palaces that were built together, only four wings survived the 1794 fire. There is a Riding School on the grounds that still stands today. This palace was established in 1928 and was designed by Thorvald Jorgensen.
Grundtvig Church

This church is located between Norrebro and the Zoological Museum. The church was built between 1921 and 1940, and was names after the founder of the Adult Educations movement. It features the style that is typical of Denmark.
National Museum

This museum has a notable collection of the illustrated history of Denmark. This collection includes a sun chariot that is more than 2000 years old. There are Romanesque and Gothic church fittings that are featured in the museum as well as the Danish porcelain and silver collections.
New Harbor

Right by the harbor, you can catch a glimpse of the Charlottenburg Palace, the home of the Royal Academy of Art. You can also see an anchor at the end of the harbor that is a memorial to Danish sailors who lost their lives in World War II.

Rosenborg Palace

The Rosenborg Palace was built in the 15th century, and is located in a park that is east of the Botanic Garden of Copenhagen. This is the spring and autumn residence of the Danish Royal Family. It also house a private collection of Danish kings, including paintings, sculptures, and the Crown Jewels.
Round Tower

The Round Tower is located on a shopping street in Copenhagen’s Old Town. It was built in 15th century to be used as an observatory. Now it houses a small collection of material that is connected to the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe.
Stock Exchange

If you travel southeast of the Christianborg, you will find the Stock Exchange. It was built in the 15th century and display s a Dutch Renaissance style. It has a high tower with a spire formed by intertwining tails for four dragons. The characteristic of the building most recognizable is the green patina of the copper roof.
