Budapest Hungary Shopping - Vaci Utca is the first pedestrian shopping street in Budapest. This street runs from Vorosmarty ter in the center of Pest, all the way to Vamhaz krt. This street is filled with high-end boutiques and shops that offer fashion and folklore/souvenir shops, as well as cafes and bars. Most of the prices along this street are fairly high, although the atmosphere is an enjoyable shopping and dining experience.

The Castle District is a popular shopping area that offers additional high-end boutiques and art galleries. Also available on this street are Hungarian wines to be discovered in the fascinating labyrinthine cellar at the House of Hungarian Wines.

The Jozsefvarosi Piac at VIII. Kobanyai ut is a flea market very close to the city center. There are a large number of Chinese vendors. Situated on the side of a railroad yard near the Jozsefvaros Station, you will find bargains for both new and used items including Chinese silk, Russian caviar, vodka, toys, chocolate, and much more. The variety of shopping is unlimited, and the thrifty shopper can find bargains.
